Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin along with The DREAM US have helped more than 4,000 undocumented immigrants attend colleges and universities across America. The graduation rate of scholarship recipients is staggering. Each year, the round of applications are open starting November 1. They offer 2 unique scholarship to eligible Dreamers.

The first scholarship is the National Scholarship. This is for high school and community college graduates who are currently protected under DACA or TPS.

Students must qualify for in-state tuition at their university of choice and there is an online option for remote learners. The scholarship sponsors up to $14,500 for an associate degree and $29,000 for a bachelor degree. The second option is the Opportunity Scholarship.

This is offered to high school graduates who live in states that do not offer in-state tuition to Dreamers or forbid them from attending. An applicant must be protected by DACA or TPS and accepted into a participating college or university. The scholarship will pay for up to $80,000 for a bachelor degree – it covers tuition, room and board, and meals.

Lacey and Larkin are proud to assist young Dreamers with their collegiate endeavors. Without them, the nation would be a bleak place.

With the impending repeal of DACA, it is vital that we support Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin and speak out against the Trump administration’s blatant disregard for human life. The pursuit of a better life is not a crime and everyone is entitled to an education. We stand with Dreamers. We stand for the the Dream.
