L’Oreal’s Mission to Create Inclusivity

L’Oreal kicked off their second Le Défilé L’Oreal Paris show on September 30, 2018. The Le Défilé L’Oreal show, which L’Oreal held on a catwalk located on the Seine River in Paris, is the second annual show and was held during the 2019 Fashion Week for Spring and Summer fashion. The show was open to the public and saw attendance from a variety of celebrities as well.

The Le Défilé L’Oreal show was designed to promote inclusivity. A variety of models with different backgrounds walked during the show. Stéphane Lancien, a world renown hair artist, prepared over 70 new hairstyles for the highly-anticipated show. After the event was complete it took a crew over eight days to remove and disassemble the catwalk that was designed to float over the River Seine.

About Nicolas Krafft

Nicolas Krafft currently serves L’Oreal as the General Manager Pulp Riot International. Prior to his current position, Nicolas Krafft filled several other positions at L’Oreal. He has worked as the Vice President of Global Business Development, Deputy General Manager in Eastern Europe, General Manager, Marketing Director in Asia, and Marketing Director in Kerastase.

Nicolas Krafft studied at both the University of St. Gallen and France’s INSEAD business school prior to working with L’Oreal. He studied Business Management at the University of St. Gallen between 1990 and 1995. He then attended INSEAD in 2006 to complete the school’s Corporate General Mangement Programme.

Nicolas Krafft has been very influential to the development of L’Oreal over his many years with the company. He has attributed the success of the company to the many teams and staff members that comprise the organization. By using social media to note the many advancements that the company has made, such as the inclusion of virtual reality technology and a large reduction in water consumption, Nicolas Krafft has been able to keep the world updated on the advancement of the L’Oreal organization as a whole. Social media and the various platforms that L’Oreal consistently uses have been vital to the expansion of L’Oreal.
