They have stated that at no point had the contaminated water been used within the resort and they will continue to use pre-packaged food and bottled water until the problem is resolved. They will not be turning the water back on until the health officials confirm that the water is safe.

 

For months the water around the upper mountain resort had been treated consistently and over the course of several months has shown improvement. Recent test have shown that there was no trace of E. Coli and only low levels of coliform. Squaw Valley Resort is taking this problem very seriously and the safety of their guests is a top priority. They stated in December that while the issue is being resolved guest will continue to have access to their High Camp and Gold Coast facilities.
